If you’re a traveller like myself, then you’d probably have a list of apps on your phone or website bookmarks on your browser. These things are invaluable. Well, let me help you further. My list of Best Travel Websites in 2019 will help you plan your trip on a budget.

1. Booking.com

Your number one hotels booking website. Right now they are the best as far as I’m concerned because they just teamed up with rentalcars.com and made them the number one booking portal for renting cars. This is amazing and innovative and that’s why they are number one on my list. You can really save a lot of money if you find the right offer in the right place at the right time.

2. Agoda.com

I once used Agoda to get a room in Texas for less than $100. I didn’t stay there though. Lol. Great for deals and used widely in Asia. Arguably one of the most popular, if not Best Travel Websites in 2019.

3. Airbnb

If you’re not using Airbnb then honestly, I can’t help you. They are genuinely one of the best booking sites – for accommodation issues – around and they have a useful app. I’ve only used them and love them so much. Use my referral link and get $23 off your first Airbnb stay.

4. Trivago

DSTV, the cable for Africa kept running ads on Trivago so much I had to look them up. Not bad. But I guess bookings.com work even better. You can always doublecheck the hotel you’ve found on Trivago as they’ll search for the cheapest price of a given hotel.

5. Hotels.ng

Our very own Nigerian hotels.ng is utterly useful if you need cheap hotels in Nigeria. I hardly ever use it though, but I hear it’s worth it and legit.

6. Trip Advisor

When I’m in a town and I have no idea where to eat or visit, asides airbnb, I use Trip Advisor. Not bad. The best thing about TripAdvisor is the huge community behind it. You’ll find many unbiased reviews. Hotels, hostels, attractions, restaurants.. you name it!

7. Expedia

Expedia is another one of the best travel websites in 2019 I know of. Honestly there are quite a few of them, but it doesn’t hurt whatsoever using one to double check the other.

For cheap flights I use:

  • Skyscanner
  • Wakanow
  • Fli0

For reviews on shopping and stuff, I use:

  • Trip Advisor
  • Google Maps
  • Yelp
  • Foursquare
  • Walmart app

Hope this helps, a lot.
